It's that time of the year again and the main store in SL has once again been dressed up in suitable attire. There are Prize Pumpkins to be found as well as an 'Unlucky Dip' and Spooky Merry-go-round in the store. So come along and get yourself in the mood for the festivities at Isle of Wonders.

10 more Distressed Vintage Shabby Chic style Interior Walls. Dirty white boarders this time, a little more shading on the top one. As with the previous offering they come in a range of faded, dusty old nicotine stained colours and retro, vintage or just plain cute patterns.

The highly popular Texturemania hunt is back for it's third instalment, starting this coming Thursday 1st September. There are around 50 stores taking part, all full perms creators of builders tools. New Main Store in Avination

There is a new location for [K.O.] Khan Omizu Textures in Avination, you'll find us on the BeReal City sim, search on the map or search for Khan Omizu. Looking forward to getting stuck into the venture over the next few months and new stock should follow soon. The sim is under complete reconstruction just now so wear a hard hat. Have fun!

[K.O.] - Shabby Chic II - 55 Organic Grunge Textures

Shabby Chic II is a pack I've been working on releasing this week and being Friday and a holiday weekend (depending on your region) it seems like a good time to do so. We've got 55 brand new textures to keep us all busy this Easter weekend. Ideal for building those old whitewashed summer houses we dream about, perhaps a bit run down and loose at the seams. (I know the feeling) Pictures below, you'll find it on the SL Marketplace or at the main SL Store. As always it'll be available in InWorldz and Avination over the course of the day. A Shabby Wonderland

If you make one trip in SL this weekend, then dive head first (literally for some depending on viewer choice) into a big scrummy helping of Chocolate Pie. A feast for lovers of all things Shabby and Chic, the sim recently opened a new string of little boutiques including Tatty Soup, The Cats Whiskers and DabbleRae. Those, added to the flagship of CC Decor and the wonderful feast for the eyes that is CS Shapes by Xanthe Audeburgh make this a playful, colourful and memorable retreat.

There are many new packs in the store this week on all three grids - SL, Avination & InWorldz - For the fabric lovers we have a whole load of new stuff including Toile de Jouy and Seamless Chintz. And for the discerning interior designer / photographer a nice new pack of beautifully distressed 'Shabby Walls'. 10 New wonderfully disturbed Interior Wall textures in several styles, with various boarders and the inevitable nicotine and damp stained look that everyone seems to be crying out for these days. Out old friend Shabby Chic is certainly out there winning hearts at the moment. All these packs are available as of now in InWorldz, Avination and in Second Life, you'll find them on the Hippo Vendors and of course at the SL Marketplace. Remember we also have the 'Chez Chic' House & Garden Hunt on in the main store (SL) running until the end of April.

It's been a crazy month so far, so many new products being rolled out at the same time as updating all the Marketplace listings and updating the packaging of every single box in every store on every grid plus the SLM and Hippo servers, customs, notecards, things breaking.. but honestly I don't want it ever to stop, it reminds me of how SL used to be.

Cool Black Wall Pack #3 & Catching Up

It's been a slow start to 2011 what with opening new stores on various grids and other stores closing as the grid loses yet another sim (Onium Dye Mall - Which has moved to Avination). This week though I've released several new packs to kick start the spring & summer season. First out of the traps is [K.O.] Cool Black Wall Pack #3 which goes straight into the budget range with its older siblings. It's $L100 from the Main Store or on The Marketplace. You can also pick it up in Avination or in InWorldz. Here are a couple of pics; (you may want to click on them to see them properly)




Other packs released this week (or the end of last) include [K.O.] - Nursery - Which is a big box of perfect for Mums & Dads of little boys, little girls and little monsters. "Little monsters Khan?" "Yes little monsters, you'll see." Picture below. Also just out are two packs of gorgeous wood effect colored interiors by the name of [K.O.] - Whimsical Wood and [K.O.] - Whimsical Wood 2, the former being a beautifully pale and sometimes vintage range of colors and the latter is a range of much brighter, warm fun colors. All these packs can all be found in SL, Avination and in InWorldz. Picture below.








Oh one final note this week, the latest hunt from Mandi Blanco is underway: Texturemania 2 Hunt means there are hundreds of free, great quality prizes with a Spring theme to be found across the SL grid, all full perm items from top builders and creators. It runs through March so don't dilly dally.

Baby Jane 2011 - 80 Interiors for builders

This is a big update for the Baby Jane series of wall textures, a delicious range of colors for interior builders. There are 20 colors, or flavors they like to be known as, each in four styles; With boarders - which come in Light, Dark and Brown. So choose your boarder to suit your floor. And without boarders - Which also works well as a ceiling. It really could be the only pack of walls the discerning builder would ever need. It's now available on the Marketplace and from the Main Store in SL, it'll be in the Avination and InWorldz stores over the weekend.

Now Open For Business In Avination

Ever expanding, slowly but surely and eventually, we now find ourselves arriving on the shores of the Avination grid. I was asked by good friend and associate Tolsen DeCycla to join him on his quest to seek fortune and merriment at his brand new shiny sim, peacefully entitled 'Tranquility Harbor'. Where his new Onium Dye Village Mall has been taking shape for the past week or so.

The mall (which has been very successful on the SL grid, full to capacity or thereabouts since it's conception over a year ago) will carry on the tradition of offering shop space for creators of all the things 3D content builders crave. Textures, Sculpt Maps, Templates, Artwork and so on. There are still spaces available in the mall, but hurry. Contact Tolsen DeCycla in Avination for details, or take a trip to the sim and check it out for yourself.

Hunt Gift - The Emerald City

Hioh Jinx always runs a great quality and fun grid-wide hunt, and the latest promises to be no exception. The 'No place like home' hunt starts on the 15th January, and you can follow the blog here. This is my gift for the hunters, the 'Emerald City' builders kit. I may have read too much into the hunt title, and the hunt item (a ruby slipper), as the prizes will cover mostly items relating to the home and garden. Oh well, fly my monkeys! fly!
