The Empire Movie Palace

May I present my latest labour of love - The Empire Movie Palace - An Art Deco 'Cinema' set in the mid-1970s era. The Empire provides the full theater experience, from the box office entrance you enter the lobby where you can pick up some popcorn and refreshments, then climb the red carpeted stairs to find your seat.

You enter the main 'house' and the scale of the build becomes apparent, this seats over 300 people.. (You never know, that might be possible one day..) But whether it's a full house with a busy bar & lounge, or an afternoon of quiet contemplation in a dark, deserted theater (disturbed only by the occasional floating by of an Orb) the experience is everything you'd hoped it would be.

Glorious textures throughout give it a real retro feel mixed in with the classic deco of the building, it brings back happy childhood memories for me, and hopefully you too.

It's available now on the Second Life Marketplace . You can check out more photos of the build on my Flickr.
